Terry Russell is a 30 year veteran of the homebuilding industry and has played a significant leadership role in the southeast real estate industry for over two decades. Prior to forming FrontDoor Communities with Mike Langella, Terry served as President of Reynolds Development and Management Group and has extensive experience in leading all disciplines of a real estate company. Terry spent 22 years with John Wieland Homes & Neighborhoods (JWH&N); the last 5 years as its CEO. As CEO, he led the company to five straight years of record revenues and profits. Under his leadership, JWH&N won hundreds of national and local awards, including being named “America’s Best Builder” in 2005.
Terry is a member of Urban Land Institute (ULI) and has served as the Chair of ULI Atlanta. He is currently Chair of the Community Development Council of ULI National.
Mike Langella is a 21 year veteran of the homebuilding and community development industry with extensive experience in the Southeast, US. Prior to partnering with Terry Russell to establish FrontDoor Communities, Mike was with John Wieland Homes & Neighborhoods (JWH&N) for 11 years where he held a variety of senior leadership positions including Senior Vice President Strategy & Development and President of the Charleston, SC homebuilding division. As President of the Charleston, SC homebuilding division, Mike oversaw the development/homebuilding process for hundreds of homes at a time. Prior to his time at JWH&N, Mike worked for WCI Communities, developing and operating communities in Southwest Florida and California.
Mike received a BS in Business Administration from University of Connecticut and an MBA from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business.
Richard Whiteley is responsible for company capital strategy, evaluation of new opportunities and portfolio management which includes the creation and implementation of the strategies, policies and procedures that maximize return on investment. Prior to joining FrontDoor Communities, Richard worked for the Reynolds Companies where he played a leading role in the sourcing, structuring and underwriting of an $800M real estate portfolio.
Richard holds a BS in Economics with Honors from the United States Naval Academy and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. He serves as the Chairman of the Board of Atlanta Regional Airport Falcon Field and as a board member of the Fayette County Development Authority.
Scott Dozier oversees land acquisition, development, neighborhood planning, construction and sales activity for FrontDoor Communities. Prior to joining FrontDoor, Scott spent 14 years with John Wieland Homes, serving as Division President and then Executive Vice President, with responsibility for over $350M in annual real estate transactions throughout the Southeast U.S. Most recently, Scott served as Vice President for Crescent Communities during their expansion to over $1 Billion in real estate assets company-wide. His tenure with both organizations included oversight of Private Golf Club amenities within their developments.
Scott’s extensive career background in the residential home building market includes delivery of more than 3000 homes including a mix of single family, townhomes, condominiums, mixed use developments and multi-million dollar amenity centers.
He currently holds a General Contractor’s license for the State of Georgia. He earned a BS degree from Bradley University and has served on economic development councils in various municipalities.
Mark Lipsmeyer is responsible for managing FrontDoor Communities' real estate acquisitions, development, homebuilding, sales, asset management, hospitality and golf operations throughout South Carolina. Prior to joining FrontDoor Communities, he was Vice President for Reynolds Development and Management Group (RDMG) responsible for managing a number of real estate projects throughout South Carolina for a large private equity firm.
He is CABO certified, holds a South Carolina Residential Builder’s License, was a board member of Charleston Trident Homebuilding Association, member of The Town of Mount Pleasant’s Workforce Housing Committee, member of the Home Builders Association of Greater Columbia and volunteers his time in many areas including Habitat for Humanity.
Bill Fox is responsible for managing FrontDoor Communities' real estate acquisitions, development, homebuilding and sales in Southwest Florida. Bill is a third-generation homebuilder who started working in his family’s construction business at age 14. He has significant experience in all types of residential construction and holds the designations of Graduate Master Builder and Certified New Home Sales Professional from the National Association of Homebuilders. He is licensed in the State of Florida as a Certified General Contractor.
Bill is also a United States Marine Corps veteran and a graduate of Purdue University. Originally from Indiana, Bill and his wife make their home in Naples and are proud parents and grandparents.
Irene Hall brings over 32 years of executive real estate marketing experience, including master planned developments, golf course and luxury single family home communities, multi-family rental and condo product as well as mixed-use developments throughout the southeast. She has provided comprehensive marketing management for builders, developers and real estate professionals. Irene directs the marketing efforts for FrontDoor Communities which encompasses three regions in the southeast: Atlanta, Charleston and Naples. Responsibilities include mass marketing, corporate branding, marketing strategy, media, public relations and all marketing standards established for the company. Hall spearheads sales initiatives for companywide sales teams – working closely with sale management in each market. Liaison to graphic designers, regional marketing resources and all other media services as it relates to communicating the FrontDoor brand and individual community projects.
Irene is a founding member and the 2017 Chairman for the Greater Atlanta Homebuilder’s Association - Professional Women in Building. She has enjoyed continuing successes in brand positioning and marketing strategy over the years evidenced by the professional recognition bestowed to her by the Greater Atlanta Homebuilders Association on multiple occasions, including Marketing Director of the Year.
Kelly Scibona brings more than a decade of architectural experience to FrontDoor Communities as the builder's Director of Architecture. Kelly is responsible for developing the ever expanding architecture portfolio, managing architectural resources and upholding the architectural integrity of all FrontDoor designs. With extensive residential architectural experience and a background in historical and classical architecture, Kelly had the pleasure of being part of the design team for the 2005 Southern Living Idea House in Glenwood Park and the project manager for the 2008 Southern Accents Showhouse at Regent's Park. Prior to joining FrontDoor Communities, Kelly owned her own firm that focused on sensitive renovations and additions to historic intown homes.
Kelly graduated cum laude with a bachelor's in architecture from the University of Notre Dame. She also spent a year traveling through Europe studying classical architecture. Kelly is a Registered Architect in both Georgia and North Carolina.
