New Mixed-Use Community Coming Soon to North Charleston at MixsonFrontDoor Communities is thrilled to announce that it has purchased land and assets at Mixson, a community of North Charleston’s desirable Park Circle district. FrontDoor plans to enliven the Mixson area with the development of single-family homes, townhomes, green spaces, restaurants and shops to provide residents with a livable, walkable community that connects them to their neighbors, downtown Charleston, the airport, the beach and more.

FrontDoor’s acquisition includes the Mixson Bath & Racquet Club, Mixson Market, Básico restaurant and land for future development. Current plans for single-family homes and townhomes feature classic South Carolina Lowcountry and urban designs to exemplify Mixson’s “true town” appeal. FrontDoor’s 171 homesites at Mixson will offer 1,500 to 3,100 square feet of comfortable living spaces and will be priced from the high $200,000s to the $400,000s.

FrontDoor Communities will be sharing homebuilding responsibilities with Eastwood Homes, who will contribute 80 townhomes offering 1,400 to 2,800 square feet of home space and priced from the mid-$200,000s to $300,000s. FrontDoor and Eastwood plan to open fully decorated model homes this summer and offer pre-sale homes soon.

Future Mixson residents will enjoy a neighborhood distinguished by its true community lifestyle, with its public spaces, parks trails, open-air pavilion, community market and membership at North Charleston’s premier swim and social club. Located in the Park Circle area, Mixson residents will be minutes away from everywhere, including downtown Charleston, the airport, the beach, business centers and other favorites.
