New Woodstock Community Celebrates Ribbon Cutting and Summerfest
FrontDoor Communities is pleased to announce the official opening of its newest Cherokee County community, Inwood. The Atlanta-based builder hosted a successful ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, June 8, followed by the grand opening Summerfest event on Saturday, June 10. Mayor Donnie Henriques attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony, which kicked off the grand opening festivities for Inwood.
“We’re so excited to officially open Inwood in downtown Woodstock,” said Terry Russell, CEO of FrontDoor Communities. “This town has an excitement and a vibrancy to it that is unmatched, and we’ve designed this community to fit in with the unique atmosphere and lifestyle that Woodstock offers.”
On Thursday, June 8 at 11 a.m., guests witnessed the official opening of Inwood, a mixed-use community of single-family homes and townhomes located steps away from downtown Woodstock. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was overseen by Woodstock Mayor Donnie Henriques, city council members, Main Street Woodstock members, public safety officials and representatives from FrontDoor Communities. Guests enjoyed a catered lunch following the ceremony, as well as tours of the two community model homes.
To celebrate the grand opening, FrontDoor Communities hosted Summerfest on Saturday, June 10. The event included beer tastings from Woodstock-based Reformation Brewery, food from Nana G’s Chicken & Waffles food truck, cool treats from King of Pops, live music and games including corn hole and life-size Connect Four. In addition, attendees were encouraged to tour the model homes and other available inventory homes.
Inwood is a mixed-use community featuring townhome and single-family homes from the mid-$300,000s. Homes will feature two-to-five bedrooms, quaint front-porch spaces, professional lawn maintenance and more. With several interested buyers drawn in by the recent festivities, Inwood is sure to quickly become one of Woodstock’s most popular places to call home.
This charming, historically influenced community is located near I-575 and is within walking distance of downtown Woodstock and the many shopping, dining and entertainment options available there. Residents will also enjoy connectivity to miles of biking, hiking and walking trails along the Green Prints Alliance Trail system, a community park with seating and gas fire pit, green space and a dog park. Future plans include a community swimming pool. Visit www.FDCAtlanta.com/Inwood to learn more.
